just a note to let you know that i’ll not be open for the july art hop. there are many things that need to be done around the studio in order to keep it new & fresh and i’ve decided to concentrate on those for now. it’ll be a nice break and then when we are open again – there will be some exciting things happening.

So i was part of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League’s Musical Chairs project and was lucky enough to score two tiny chairs! i spent hours transforming them into “Peter and the Wolf” – and this weekend they are up for auction this Saturday night! i completed my sketchbook today for the Sketchbook Project. i am sharing it with you here…the scans aren’t the best as it turned out quite chunky but i’d love to hear your feedback!
my sketchbook is almost ready to go forth and travel the united states. i am secretly hoping to meet up with it in texas during SXSW.
this was my goal for last Art Hop – to have the Fox Family Tree finished. i did it! sorry it’s taken me so long to share it. let me know what you think…xob.

i have ventured into a fantastic tiny world of fuzzy beauty. these felted mushrooms are hand felted by my new friend meli from athens, greece. they are absolutely amazing and precious at the same time. i could only do them justice merely by providing them a comfy home. enjoy!
