just a note to let you know that i’ll not be open for the july art hop. there are many things that need to be done around the studio in order to keep it new & fresh and i’ve decided to concentrate on those for now. it’ll be a nice break and then when we are open again – there will be some exciting things happening.

tiny chairs

So i was part of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League’s Musical Chairs project and was lucky enough to score two tiny chairs! i spent hours transforming them into “Peter and the Wolf” – and this weekend they are up for auction this Saturday night! I’m quite excited to be a part of this experience for our symphony and our community. More information can be found at the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League’s site.

i have ventured into a fantastic tiny world of fuzzy beauty. these felted mushrooms are hand felted by my new friend meli from athens, greece. they are absolutely amazing and precious at the same time. i could only do them justice merely by providing them a comfy home. enjoy!
